Purpose of the Activity:
The LTAI Firefighting Competition, held on March 20, 2025, aimed to strengthen the skills of local firefighters and community fire brigades through simulated firefighting and rescue challenges.

The activity also sought to promote camaraderie, teamwork, and excellence in firefighting and rescue operations, while testing participants’ physical fitness and readiness for real-life emergency situations.

Event: 27th LTAI Fire Brigade Firefighting Competition

Location: Hosted by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) with participation from various fire brigades, showcasing their skills and teamwork

Competition Highlights:

Life Extrication: Rescuing individuals in simulated fire scenarios

Rope Rescue Techniques: Applying rope-based rescue methods such as rappelling and ascending

Toughest Firefighter Challenge: Assessing firefighters’ physical strength and endurance

Obstacle Course: Performing tasks including hose handling, ladder climbing, and victim rescue

Fire Extinguishment: Demonstrating fire suppression skills using proper equipment and techniques
