To efficiently support the development of complex automotive assemblies from concept stage to mass production stage, FPMI established its own TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT. Its task is to analyze, develop and improve initial parts production; verify implementation stages for new models (Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi) and to conceptualize and fabricate needed jigs and fixture and press dies.

The department employs the latest techniques such as AutoCAD 2005 for 2D designs, AutoDesk Inventor V9 and CATIA V5 for 3D for its product design and development. Since its establishment in 1999, the Technical Department was able to localized die and jig fabrications, welding and inspection jig fixtures and designs were successfully marketed to clientele in other countries such as UK, China, India, Japan and Vietnam.
